SATORI

SATORI is a 41.5m custom sailing yacht launched in 2017 by Big Blue Yachting, based in Bodrum, Turkey. The yacht’s interior, crafted by Jeanette and Claus Thottrup, is thoughtfully designed to deliver a peaceful and orderly onboard environment, with a strong emphasis on privacy, high quality, and spaciousness.  With the intention of bringing the boutique hospitality of Borgo Santo Pietro onto the sea, SATORI provides a premium experience defined by discreet luxury and meticulous attention to personal needs. Built using traditional wooden boatbuilding techniques, she pays tribute to classic sailing heritage while seamlessly integrating contemporary amenities into a layout designed for extended and pleasurable sea voyages.

The exterior spaces showcase a beautiful combination of teak decking, polished mahogany and walnut finishes. At the stern, there is a cozy coffee lounge that includes a secondary bar, lounge seating, and a large, shaded daybed - ideal for casual meals, relaxing with a book, or sipping a cocktail at dusk. The decks are generously sized and cleverly organized, offering both sun-drenched and sheltered spots for lounging or socializing. Whether she’s sailing or anchored, SATORI provides smooth flow between indoor and outdoor areas, helping guests stay connected to the ocean at all times.

Inside, SATORI boasts a 35m² indoor salon and dining area that includes an open kitchen and bar, allowing guests to watch the preparation of fresh, seasonal cuisine or simply unwind in a comfortable setting. She features five guest cabins that can host up to ten people. The spacious 36m² master suite includes a king-size bed, while the other cabins are outfitted with queen-size beds. All guest areas are equipped with air conditioning, and the layout is designed with distinct zones to ensure guest privacy and efficient service by separating crew and guest spaces.

In the evenings, guests can enjoy movies under the stars thanks to an outdoor cinema setup, complete with cozy blankets and pillows for added comfort. SATORI also features a wellness program offering onboard treatments with Seed to Skin Tuscany products, handmade at Borgo Santo Pietro, the estate owned by Claus and Jeanette Thottrup. Massage services and personal wellness plans can be arranged prior to departure based on guest preferences.
