CALEDONIA is a true oceangoing centreboard steel sloop. She was built from 1998 - 2000 in Makkum in the Netherlands according to the wishes of her first owner who lived onboard for 17 years. CALEDONIA proved her seaworthiness in rough, cold waters (East-West route through the ice around Asia, Europe and Canada) as well as in warm Caribbean waters. She is equipped with a crash box up front. Furthermore, she has several watertight compartments such as the stern garage, aft cabin, engine room, and workshop.
